[Gallery] Pittsburgh Light of Unity Festival
More than 100 local Baha’is and friends gathered to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah on October 22, 2017. Guided by the theme of Unity in Diversity, the Light of Unity Festival offered a variety of free-choice activities in an atmosphere of joy and exploration. Special musical guest, Tasana Camara, thrilled all with performances on balafon and kora, with accompaniment by Joel Martinez and Jason Rafalak, while dancers Linsey McDaniel and Laura Stokes taught African and Afro-Caribbean dance. Guests viewed a screening of Light to the World and ended the day with a lively discussion led by local Baha’i and journalist Jesse Washington.
